A popular tradition also links the X's to the three threats to the city: Water, Fire and Pestilence.
Deutsch: Flagge von Amsterdam.
Polski: Flaga Amsterdamu.
Plattdüütsch: Flagg vun Amsterdam.
Nederlands: Vlag van Amsterdam.
