Description Marc Schulman of Orchid Outriggers, Los Osos, CA, took me out in his 17' outrigger canoe to photograph these Ospreys, Egrets, and Surf Scoters. We paddled six hours. I shot with a Canon 20D w/ 100-400mm IS lens w/ an older model Tamron 1.4 Tele-extender which preserves autofocus. If image information shows 400mm it should probably read 560mm as the Tamron tele-extender does not communicate properly with the Canon 20D and thus all mm values need to be multiplied by 1.4 to be accurate
