English: This graph shows annual carbon dioxide emissions from fuel combustion between 1990-2009 for the Kyoto Annex I and non-Annex I Parties. For the Annex I Kyoto Parties, annual emissions in 1990 were 9,040 million tonnes, and in 2009, were 7,547 million tonnes. For the non-Annex I Parties, annual emissions in 1990 were 6,754 million tonnes, and in 2009, were 15,374 million tonnes. This graph is based on data taken from the International Energy Agency (IEA) publication “ CO2 Emissions From Fuel Combustion: Highlights (2011 edition);” publisher: IEA, Paris, France. The PDF version is freely available for download (size 1,717 KB) from the IEA. The bar graph was produced using data from an Excel spreadsheet, which is also freely available for download (1,008 KB).
