Join the Team in 2014 and run the British 10K London Run for SOS Children
On Sunday July 13th 2014 you could be part of Team SOS Children running this year’s British 10K London Run. We’ve got places on this year’s event and would love to have you on board our 2014 Team. The closing date is Friday 27th June.
About the race
This is one of the most prestigious and sought-after 10K road races. Each year the race has been a sell-out event with over 25,000 participants filling the streets of the capital, including athletes and celebrity runners. The race will take you through the heart of central London, passing many of the city’s iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, The London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral, Trafalgar Square and Westminster Abbey.
If you'd like to find out more about the race you can visit their website which has all the race details and route information on: www.thebritish10klondon.co.uk.
How do I enter?
To secure your running place for Team SOS Children all you need to do is complete the online registration form and make your race payment (£35) either over the phone on 01223 365589, or by sending in a cheque made payable to 'SOS Children' to the address below.
Alternatively, click on the form to the left to download a paper copy and send your completed form along with your payment for the race to: Challenges, SOS Children, Terrington House, 13 - 15 Hills Road, Cambridge, CB2 1NL.

Once we have received both your completed registration form and payment we will automatically enter you in the race.
We will provide you with all the support, advice and side-line cheers you need not only to reach the finish line but also to raise a fantastic total to support the children in our care.
We will also send you an SOS Children t-shirt to wear during your training runs and the race itself as well as a Challenge Pack to kick-start your fundraising.
You can check out our pictures from last year’s event and see the team in action on www.facebook.com/teamsoschildren.
Running to make a difference
Your determination, energy and commitment can raise the crucial funds required to change the lives of vulnerable children and families. For SOS Children runners we ask for a pledge to raise £120 to support our work caring for orphaned and abandoned children around the world.
The easiest way to generate this sponsorship is by creating an online fundraising page. We are registered with BT MyDonate as well as Justgiving and Virgin Money Giving. Our favourite way to raise money is with MyDonate, as this offers online fundraising without any charge to SOS Children. Check out the options to help you decide...
Running for charity is not only about raising funds but also about raising awareness amongst your friends, family and community.
We look forward to seeing you at the finish line!
