Photographic Expression
These photos are a study on children's self expression using photography. The children who took the photos and gave the comments are cared for by SOS Children in Colombia, India, Nicaragua and Thailand.
The photos and children's explanations cover a wide range of themes; children talk thoughtfully about what the environment means to them, how important their family are, why they enjoy playing games and so on.
These photos were collected as part of a wider charity project called Seeing Beyond Violence, which looked at how children are able to look beyond problems and enjoy their childhoods.
