SOS Children's Village Valle de Ángeles
SOS Children's Village Valle de Ángeles is a home for mentally and physically challenged children. It is situated about 30 km from the capital of Tegucigalpa in a rather agricultural region. It opened its gates in 1993, when the first children moved into their new homes. SOS Children's Village Valle de Ángeles consists of 9 family houses, the village director's house, staff accommodation, a soccer field as well as an administration and service area. The whole SOS Children's Village has been specially equipped with ramps, railings, suitable furniture etc., in order to provide the children with as much mobility as possible.Other Projects in Valle de Ángeles
An SOS Medical Centre with rooms for medical treatment and physiotherapy, occupational therapy and relaxation has also been established. It is equipped with a swimming pool for hydro therapy. The adjoining SOS Youth Home offers workshops for pottery, arts and crafts. A private hospital is near the SOS Children's Village, as well as two primary schools and a secondary school. Some of the less challenged children attend the schools of the neighbourhood; for the others, an SOS School for children with special needs has been set up near the SOS Children's Village. Its special education programs help children to develop their abilities as much as possible.

Francisco Morazán (FMO) is one of the departments of Honduras. It is located in the central part of the nation. The departmental capital is Tegucigalpa, which is also Honduras's national capital. Until 1943 it was known as Tegucigalpa department. It was named after national hero Francisco Morazán. it is a particularly mountainous area with rugged ranges covered in pine forests, which are rocky and mostly clay. Valleys, like those of Guiamaca, Talanga, and Amarateca, can be found here amongst the ranges.
